Warm Cortinarius: Shades of Sunset

This soft and squishy DK yarn comes in various shades of orange and red derived from Cortinarius mushrooms. These small mushrooms are harder to spot than some of the other species used for dye, making the time invested in their collection significantly greater but the stunning results are well worth it! I dye in micro-batches of 8 skeins of fewer using wild foraged mushrooms so dyelots often vary significantly from shades of creamsicle and pumpkin as well as crimson and brick reds. Select from either the orange color family or the red color family from the drop-down. Available skeins may be from multiple dyelots and include various shades.
